Canon Mx330 Printer Software Download for Mac
Is this the aforementioned printer that you said was "offline" earlier?
I take it that the printer no longer says that it is "offline" -- correct? How did yous correct that condition?
When y'all double-click on the icon for the printer in Devices and Printers, how many items are reported as being "in the queue"?
Is there whatsoever message displayed on the printer's LCD screen? If so, what is the message?
Can yous print a "nozzle check pattern" using the printer'southward front panel controls?
Go to Devices and Printers, correct-click on the icon for your MX330, and select "Printer properties." Select the "Ports" tab.
Ane of the items in the list of Ports will be highlighted and checked. What is in the "Port" column for that line? Y'all may have to click and drag the faint vertical line between "Port" and "Description" in the header row in gild to see the entire entry in the "Port" column.

I followed your directions using the "See What's Printing" and unchecking the "Utilize Printer Offline" push button. Worked fine!
There are 0 items in queue.
I was able to impress a nozzle check using the printer's front panel.
The port is USB002.
This printer also has a FAX, which I do not employ or accept continued with a phone line. The FAX printer is listed on USB001, but it is not checked.
I also ran the Troubleshooter, and information technology wants me to list the FAX as the primary printer. When I checked "Continue without this ready", it said it couldn't identify the problem. This is the troubleshooter study:

I've never found the Windows "troubleshooters" to be particularly helpful ... and it certainly isn't in your case.
It seems that for some reason, Windows is having a problem communicating with your printer. I doubtable that's why the troubleshooter wants you to fix the Fax functionality of the device as the default printer.
In my answer to your question about "offline" status, I asked if you hear the audio furnishings when you connect the printer. You lot didn't respond that question. With the printer connected to your computer, plow off the printer. You should hear the distinctive two-tone "Device disconnect" sound. Now turn the printer dorsum on. Y'all should hear the two-tone "Device connect" sound.
Did you hear both sounds?
If you aren't sure of what you lot're listening for, you lot can hear the sound effects as follows:
- Go to Control Panel and set the view (upper right corner) to "Small-scale icons"
- Click the "Sound" icon
- Click the "Sounds" tab
- In the "Programme Events" window, scroll down until you lot see "Device Connect" and click on that to select it
- After you select "Device Connect" you should encounter "Windows Hardware Insert.wav" under Sounds; click the "Play" push button to listen to the sound result
- Now select (click on) "Device Disconnect" and you should run into "Windows Hardware Remove.wav"; click the "Play" button to listen.
I don't accept a definitive answer for you and the following are only guesses.
Reset the printer
- Plow the printer off with the Power button (if available).
- Disconnect the information cable from the printer (not applicative to WiFi, Bluetooth or Infrared).
- Unplug the printer's ability cord for approximately 10 minutes, and then plug it dorsum in. If troubleshooting a communication issue, reconnect the data cable (not applicable to WiFi, Bluetooth or Infrared).
- Turn the printer back on.
Given that this is essentially the process that seems to have caused your consequence in the starting time place, I don't have a lot of hope that this will fix things, but this is what Catechism recommends as a first step.
Remove and reinstall the printer
- Get to https://www.u.s..canon.com/cyberspace/portal/us/home/back up/details/printers/support-inkjet-printer/mx-series/pixma-mx330 and click the "Drivers and Downloads" button
- Make sure that the website has correctly identified your version of Windows and then click the "Select" button
- For the 32-bit version of Windows 7, you lot should download "md86-win-mx330-1_02-ej.exe" -- click the "Download" push button and salvage the file in a location that yous will recollect (e.g., your Desktop)
- Disconnect the printer from the computer
- Become to Command Panel > Programs and Features, notice and select "Canon MX330 Series MP Drivers" and click "Uninstall"
- Go to Devices and Printers. If the icons for your MX330 printer and MX330 fax are notwithstanding there, right-click on each of them and select "Remove device"
- Click on any other icon in the "Printers and Faxes" category (assuming that at that place is at least 1 icon remaining)
- Click on the link for "Impress server properties" in the tool bar at the pinnacle of the Devices and Printers window (this link will not appear if you are unable to do step 7)
- Click the "Drivers" tab
- There should exist no entry for the Canon MX330, but if there is, select it and click "Remove"; remove both the driver and the package
- Double-click the file that you downloaded ( md86-win-mx330-1_02-ej.exe), follow the prompts, and connect the printer when instructed to do then.
- With whatsoever luck, yous should at present exist able to print.

I do non hear the Device Connect/Disconnect sound when the USB is plugged in. I do know it works, as I tried information technology with a Flash Drive.
I tried resetting the printer per your instructions, but it still did not piece of work. I take been in touch with the Canon Support, and they suggested Removing the printer in Devices and Printers, after unplugging the USB from the printer, then restarting the computer with the Printer USB plugged in. It did not work, either, and now the printer does non show upwards on Devices and Printers. I had already downloaded the driver you suggested, then I may try your instructions to reinstall the printer.

This sounds like a bad connection between your printer and your computer.
Yous write that the "printer works fine when scanning and copying." Copying is, of course, a part that the device does without involving the computer. Does "works fine when scanning" mean that you can scan a document and save a file (e.m., a pdf file) to the estimator? If that'due south what you mean, the cablevision and the USB port on your computer appear to exist working, so the error would seem to be in the printer itself.
If you can't save a scanned file to the figurer, and so the trouble could be the USB cable -- merely you said that you tried another cablevision with no change -- or it could be the USB port on your computer. Endeavour connecting the printer cable to a different USB port. If you have a desktop/tower computer, use one of the USB ports on the back rather than on the front panel of the reckoner. If you hear the sound effect when you connect to a different USB port and turn on the printer, installing the commuter should prepare things upward.
If you don't hear the sound effect, I suspect that if y'all attempt to reinstall the printer using that downloaded file you will get to the betoken where the installer asks y'all to connect the printer and no further. That is, you will get to the window shown beneath and nothing more will happen -- but yous might get lucky. I'd be interested in hearing what Canon has to say, but I wait that y'all'll have to have the printer serviced.
